Dixie Club Has Pleasant Meet At Hanby Home A moat enthusiastic meeting of the Dixie club was held at the borne of Mra. A. J. Hanby on Dec. 3. A large attendance wae present and much waa accomplished in aewlng for the Red Cross. The club voted to purchase two chslrs as gifts to the Women's club rooms, also to purchase a block of ten tickets for the Marionette show These tickets to be given to children otherwise ttnable to attend the chil dren's afternoon matinee, and thus to further aid in increasing the funds for the soup kitchen of the varloua schools. A watch party will be held at the home of Mra. George B. Canode on the eve of Dec. 81. Chairman of ar rangement 1 Mrs. Max OeBauer, who will be asststed by Mr. O. O. Murray and Mr. J. Peter. The Thanksgiving self-denial offering was received. Two Important recommendations were voted upon during the business session. It was decided that the ao elety ahould care for one family at Chrlstmaa time, and that It should sponsor a candy sale at Cupp'a furni ture store December 17. This meeting marked the end of the half year'a work. Senior Triangle to Aid Family at Chrlstmaa The regular meeting of the Senior Triangle was held Tuesdsy evening st the Christian church. South, met with Mrs. Taylor, December 0. There was a good attendance with every officer reporting aomethlng accomplished. ' Tbe social meeting will be held with Mrs. Cobb Dec. 30th. Meeting Mrs. Harry Harding, Jackson county president of the Parent-Teacher asso ciation, came down from Crater Lake Friday to attend the Parent-Teachor association meeting at Bellvlew Dec ember 10. Kabele, to express their appreciation to them of their service and leadership In th work of the church and tbe splendid progress made In all departments of the church's work during the past year.
