E. church of Ashlsnd on Friday, Sept. 18. After an Inspiring devo tional service by Mrs. Van Tassen of Ashland, President Mrs. Minnie Heine of Medford, called the convention to order. Mrs. Russel wsa presented as a pio neer member of the Ashland union and It was explained that the splen did floral decorations had been brought In her honor as well as the convention. After a number of business Items hsd been disposed of and the session hsd been closed with prayer by Mrs. E. M. Long of Medford the convention adjourned to a bounteous repast. Slgllnger, a falthrul member of the Medford union and a memorial service was conducted by Mrs. Belle Llttrel of Medford as aha opened the afternoon session with de votions.
