Marie's Guild club held the last party of the summer season last week at the home of Mrs. Hugh Hamlin on the Rogue river. A cafeteria lunch eon was enjoyed at noon by the 24 guests, after which cards were en Joyed. Mrs. L. 0. Taylor held high acore, and other honors went to Mra. Greg ory and Mrs. Brown. Prizes for the afternoon were presented by Mrs. Strange. Assisting the hostess during the afternoon were Mrs. Butler and Mrs. Eakln. Mrs. Hart Completes Stay Mrs. Anna Hart, who haa been spending the summer here a the guest of her sons, Floyd and Robert Hart, and their families, left today on the Shasta for Eugene, where she Is housemother at Alpha Chi Omega sorority. It was Intend ed to file the motion Tuesday. It Is a legal formality, and ends all hopes for the present, at least, of an appeal to the supreme court. Reed, nor his kin and friends were able to raise 200 necessary for preparing the transcript of the testimony.
