Leave for Bend Mr. and Mrs. T. H Robinson left last evening for Bend, Ore., where they will spend the week end visiting Mr. Robinson's sister. They plan to return Monday evening. They made the trip via Crater Lake. Tanner Visits Here Walter J. Tan ner of San Francisco, a resident of Medford from 1B07 to 1912, Is spend ing two weeks in Medford attending to business matters and visiting friends. He is now In the real estate business In the south and reports that he has found business conditions in Medford superior to those In ell other -oast towns visited. While here he expects to fish the Rogue with Wm. F. Isaacs, but does not claim to be as good fisherman as the latter. He Is a na tive of Centralia, jind she of Central Point. Sentence Suspended The $10 fine imposed upon M. J. Ellis for improper license plates, was suspended Friday afternoon by Judge Glenn O. Taylor. Ellis was arrested by state police for having a California license on his car while working in Medford. Visits Bown Mr. and Mrs. Carl Von der Ahe of Pasadena, who visited last week-end with Captain Lee M. Bown of the state police, spent a few days here this week en route to Port land last week-end, where he was Joined by Mrs. Von der Ahe. Captain Bown and Mr. Von der Ahe attended the University of Oregon together. Travels South Mrs. Mira Miller Stauffer of Manhelm. Penn., who has been attending the W. C. T. U. con vention In Seattle, stopped In Med ford where she was the guest of Dr. Eva Mains Carlow. They arrived here from San Francisco and are contin uing north with their act. They are remembered by many local people, who attended the University of Ore gon, when the Burton orchestra was first organized on the campus.
