Ferguson of Prosser, Wash., arrived
hem by train Friday evening from
Seattle to spend a week hero as the

en route north, to visit Dick Isaacs
Herron, now a Stanford student, at
tended the Moran school with Isaacs
several years ago.
Leave for Bend Mr. and Mrs. T. H
Robinson left last evening for Bend,
Ore., where they will spend the week
end visiting Mr. Robinson's sister.
They plan to return Monday evening.
They made the trip via Crater Lake.
Tanner Visits Here Walter J. Tan
ner of San Francisco, a resident of
Medford from 1B07 to 1912, Is spend
ing two weeks in Medford attending
to business matters and visiting
friends. He is now In the real estate
business In the south and reports
that he has found business conditions
in Medford superior to those In ell
other -oast towns visited. While here
he expects to fish the Rogue with
Wm. F. Isaacs, but does not claim to
be as good fisherman as the latter.

Ellis was arrested by state police for
having a California license on his car

"Tuseon Cling" peaches, grown on
the Oieim ranch, are on display to
day at the Chamber of Commerce
building and arous'ing many husky
appetites, A large cucumber, which
measures 12 inches In circumference
and 12 inches in length Is also at
tracting much attention at the cham
ber. It was grown by Irvln Dupray of
North Riverside, and Is being saved
for seed.

ing sentenced to sixty days in the
county Jail, fined $100 and his op
erator's license revoked for a year,

reported that elaborate preparations
are being made by the Yreka "Gold
Miners' club to put on a realistic
revival of pioneer days with a big old

ers grow and have already achieved
some startling facial adornments to
advertise the event.
