Mrs. Lou Fendland and brother, Luke Edlngton, of Marah field visited at the John Nealon home Monday. Roy Parr of Ashland was a Table Rock visitor Wednesday afternoon. Several people from this neighbor hood attended the religious meetings at Sams Valley last week. The first threshing of the season in this district was done last week on the Miller place by the Nealon Wilson threshing outfit. The yield was reported excellent. Army worms are not making much headway here against the attacks of many species of fowl, Including the China pheasant, quail and domestic fowls. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Gleaaon and daughter of Cottage Grove spent the week -end with the M. F. Youngs. They will visit Diamond and Crater lakes before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Bonney and daughter Alberta and Miss Rose Jones attended a Grange picnic on the Ap plegate river Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Clement have as a house guest Mr, Clement's sis ter. Mrs. B. R. Krles of Salt Lake City. The Clement family and their guest enjoyed a picnicking trip to Hell's Gate on the lower Rogue river Sunday. Frances and Wiamae Parker are spending several days with their grandmother, Mrs. H. B. Alverson. Grants Pass, y Mr. and Mrs. Sam Anderson and 'A. V. Carlson motored to Crescent City Sunday with a party of Med- rord friends and picnicked there. Roger and Dean Barker of Med ford are visiting their uncle, Ed Board-man. Miss Rose Jones and Mrs. Helen Brophy attended a meeting of the Brownsboro lng In Med ford for some time caring for her daughter, returned home on Wednesday.
