Applegate Dairy Maintains High Standard Output APPI.EOATE. June 31. ( Special ) Tho "Clover Lent" la the name of the new dairy on the I. H. Taylor ranch on Big Applegate. Mr. Taylor recent ly started a milk route to about 70 Jacksonville and Medford customers, A large refrigeration plant and aera tor .has been Installed, making It possible to start the milk loe cold on the route. Mr. Taylor announces that he will maintain clean competi tion and not cut prices. The Clover Leaf motif will be stamped on the bo t tie caps. The Clover Leaf is said to be on of the finest dairies lu southern Ore gon, having com pie to modern equip ment, a large cooling plant where cattos of milk ft re kept until time for delivery, hot and cold water system, bottling room and Mia tor where milk la cooled to freeelng point in it few seconds. The barn where the 38 head of Jersey and Guernsey cows are milked has cement floor. The article stated that Dr. Butler would cut short his annual trip to Europe as head of the Carnegls Peace foundation and return home In lass thsn a month to lead, a campaign to bring about repudiation of the plank by the state conven tions.
