Each waa presented a beauti ful bouquet of crimson rosea in ap preclatlon of their participation in health work. Medford Invitation to the aaaocla tlon to meet here for the 1833 con vention waa presented at the aame banquet, by Mayor B. M. Wilson. The Invitation waa first Introduced by a etunt prepared in the lobby of the hotel, whene an Austin car waa placed. The car carried a banner in. Tltlng the association to the "biggest little city in the weat," and a review of Medford'a attractions waa listed. with especial attention given to Cra. ter lake and the pear industry. No choice of meeting place tor the 1933 convention waa made, but will be announced later. Other nurses attending the Insti tute with Mra, Osborne, registrar for the local district, were: Misses Thel ma Kent. Blanch Runnels, Phyllis Swearlngen, Mabel Coffee n. Martha Hanley and Sister Theresa Agnes. Roxy Ann Orange will meet Fri day evening at 8 p. m. All members are urged to be pres ent aa there are several questions of Importance to be settled. R. O. Fowler, county agent, la to be present and will apeak, after which he will answer questions per taining to agriculture. There will also be other featurea on the lecture program. Visiting Grangers are cordially Invited. Park Opening Films Will Be Exhibited Moving picture taken of the open ing of the Medford entrance of Crater Lake park last week arrived her yes terday and will be ejhlbited by the Copco Newsreel. Edwin Osborne, aald to he part Indian, tall and slender, waa ar rested by Ashland police with the atolen property. According to Tunnah, the trio re turned to their place on the rail road track south of town to find Oaborn and their auppllea gone. Watson, convert ed Idaho bank robbers, w.ho with Mrs. Watson and daughter, Joyce, arrived In Medford this week, and will begin a three weeks' revival campaign on Sunday at the Pull Gos pel church on Newtown and Main, beside the Conger funeral parlors. Opining service will be Sunday night at 7:46 and the meetings will con tinue every week night except Sat urday. Mr. Watson Is an evangelist of I'D 1 wide experience and comes to Med ford highly recommended. He was converted in the atate penitentiary at Boise, Ihado. while serving a term for the robbery of the Plrst State bank at Bonners Ferry, and since his pardon in 1924 haa traveled exten sively in evangelistic and prison work. Mrs. Watson la a talented gospel singer. Both are violinists. They have Just conducted a successful four weeks campaign in Ashland at the Full Gospel temple. The evan gelist will tell the story of his life and preach the gospel at these serv ices, and everyone Is invited to come. Mr. Watson la extending a special Invitation to all candidates for elec tion on Monday night, May 16. TO BE SCENE OF GAY CARNIVAL ON FRIDAY Ice cresm, csndy, hot dogs, coffee nd "ody pop" with long list of amusement, ranging from gamea to wrestling, boxing and tumbling, are promised the public Friday the 13th. at the Washington school. Then par ents, teachera and pupil will co operate to make of the carnival a night of fun for old and young. The carnival will be staged In the school gymnasium.
