panions, transients, had worked for
weeks mowing lawna and doing odd

night confiscated the food and
valuables when he had been left to
guard them, the trio reported to
city police laat night.
Edwin Osborne, aald to he part

rested by Ashland police with the

According to Tunnah, the trio re
turned to their place on the rail
road track south of town to find
Oaborn and their auppllea gone. He
had told them prevloualy that he
waa en rout to Santa Crua, ao offi
cer were notified In Ashland.

Applegate Orange will be host Fri
day at the regular meeting to Pro
fessor Hyslop of Oregon Agricultural
college and 30 students now In the
Rogue River valley on a tour of in
spection of area recently sown to
winter blue grass. The group expect
to gain valuable Information on gen
eral crop condition in the course of
the field trip.

REVIVAL LEADER
Evangelist W. R. Watson, convert
ed Idaho bank robbers, w.ho with
Mrs. Watson and daughter, Joyce,
arrived In Medford this week, and
will begin a three weeks' revival
campaign on Sunday at the Pull Gos
pel church on Newtown and Main,
beside the Conger funeral parlors.
Opining service will be Sunday night
at 7:46 and the meetings will con
tinue every week night except Sat
urday. Mr. Watson Is an evangelist of

wide experience and comes to Med
ford highly recommended. He was
converted in the atate penitentiary
at Boise, Ihado. while serving a term
for the robbery of the Plrst State
bank at Bonners Ferry, and since his
pardon in 1924 haa traveled exten
sively in evangelistic and prison
work.
Mrs. Watson la a talented gospel
singer. Both are violinists. They
have Just conducted a successful
four weeks campaign in Ashland at
the Full Gospel temple. The evan
gelist will tell the story of his life
and preach the gospel at these serv
ices, and everyone Is invited to come.
Mr. Watson la extending a special
Invitation to all candidates for elec
tion on Monday night, May 16.
