Meringue 8 egg whites, besten 8 tablespoons auaar Beat egg whites Until stiff. Arfd sugar and beat until creamy. Roughly spread on filling. Bake 13 mlnutee In slow oven. Pour into sterilised Jars and when oool, seal. Stuffed Tomato Salad 8 firm tomatoes ft cup diced oelery ft cup diced cucumbers 3 tablespoons ohopped onions, 3 tablespoon chopped green pep pers 3-8 cup thick cottage oheese ft teaapon salt ft teaspoon paprika 1 oup stiff mayonnaise. Wash, peel tomatoes With spoon losop out Inaldes. Mix tables pons of mayonnaise with oelery, cucum ber, oheeas and seasonings. Care fully stuff tomatoes. Chill. Serve on lettuos and tap with remaining mayonnaise. Choeolan Sanoe. 1 cup sugar 8 tablespoons flour ! J this PACKAGE CONTAINS MORE SOAP Don't buy soap by the size of the package. To freshen and soften dried cocoa nut to be used In pudding or frost ing, sosk for 10 minutes In milk to cover. Drain off the milk and add the cocoon ut to the mixture. Cover with remaining bread slices. Place on baking pan and bake in moderate oven until bread has browned. Cut In halves with a sharp knife. Serve. at once. Nut Cookies 3-8 cup fat lft cups light brown sugar a eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla ft teaspoon aalt 3-3 cup broken meats 4 tablespoons sour cream 3 cupa pastry flour 1 aeaspoon soda Cream fat and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and salt. Beat two . minutes. Add rest of Ingredients 1 and drop tablespoonsful of the dough onto grossed baking pan. Flatten dough with the back of a knife. Bake 13 minutes In moderate oven.. Browned Fish 3ft pounds ol fish " 1-8 oup flour ; 1 teaspoon salt ft teaspoon paprika 3 tablespoona chill eauce 3 tablespoons lemon Juice 8 tablespoona fat Wash fish and clean thoroughly. Sprinkle with flour, aalt and papri ka. Fit into baking pan and add the fat. Brown well In oven or under broiler. Baste frequently. It will re quire about So minutes to cook.
