Mnrsh of I.os Angeles and the re ception, which followed the cere mony at the Table Rock home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Murgaret Lydiard. The wedding service was rend by Rev. Cluude B. Porter of the Fh-st Presbyterian church before a candle lighted altar, banked with pink gladioli, arranged below the colonial stairway. The bride, charming In a long fitted gown ot Ivory satin, was unattended, and carried a, bou quet ot roses and lilies of the val ley.' Following the ceremony, guests were received from 8:30 to 10 In the drawing room, decorated with summer flowers, and on the lawn, lighted with multi-colored Chinese lanterns. Mr. and Mrs. Marsh left after the reception for a motor V'lP to Rainier national park, from which they will return to Los Angeles to make their home, where Mr. Marsh is In the automobile busi ness. Mrs. Marsh is a sister of Mrs. Berthold Barnum, Wm. H. Lydiard and Stanley Lydiard of this city, Miss Grace Lydiard of Table Rock and Mrs. Ringo of Los Angeles. Honoring Miss Alice Hoefs, Mr. und Mrs. John R. Knight enter tained at their home in Jackson ville on "Tuesday evening with a seven o'clock dinner, the occasion oelng Miss Hoefs' birthday. The table appointments were carried out in a color scheme of orchid and gret-o, the house being; tastefully decorated with gladioli and other summer flowers. Miss Hoefs received many beautiful gifts. After dinner, at tho request of the guests, Mrs. Knight sang two songs, in her usual charming man ner, being accompanied by Miss irginla Fick.
