It was hoped that Hems tWt Interest would He forwarded in Item day to day, but the intensive training program mapped out this x year has kept every one here i almost too busy for letter writing. Excellent weather has prevailed 3 here with tho exception of the : first several days. Today we took a 10-mile hike In conjunction with working out a war problem against i an imaginary enemy and as a re- suit early evening finds mmt of i our boys more ;ior less tired out, but none the worse for wear or tear. Physically, our boys from Medford are standing up fine and very few have answered "sick 'J call, and those few who have j Mad minor ailments caused princi 3 pally from "over eating" or colds; j etc, ' Lieut. I At least most of the boys wouldn't dare eat as much at I home as they do here and are v the eats good? well ask Dr. B. ' R. Elliott, whom we had as our guest last night. "Doc" Is vaca tioning at Seaside and took sup a"r with us last night, together ; lith his family.
