On Wednesday in their West Harrison street house, while she darned socks, her husband John, told a friend that no holdup men "could get nwny with me." In walked three holdup men. one holding two, revolvers. Mr. Pappas and hts friends "reached for the ceiling" prom ptly. Mrs. Pappas also raised her hands in the air, the highwaymen paying little attention to a poor frightened woman.
