A few weekH ago he limped across tho street to the station and found some grain in the gravel. No one, molested him, altho his walk was feeble, so ho returned the next day nnd the next. Then the service station proprietor, who had Rrown very friendly, picked him up. He found stiff wires wound round and round the pigeon's toes. Me uncurled thorn and found hut feet were, very swollen and joro. He put him down on the ground again nnd gave him an extra hand ful of wheat.
