The trip was a delightful' one and, despite his SO years, Mr.-Car-kin Flood it best of the quartet, and Mrs. Carkin, 75. was next in taking a very keen delight. Dur ing the journey they encountered quite warm and some cold weather at times. ' .Much of the time was spent In visiting Mr. and Mrs. Carkin's for mer home, Hlllshoro, and Judge Taylor's former home in (Inlnd Korks county. North Dakota, which Id had not visited for TI years. On tie return trip to Medford they, sjent a day and a half in Yellow stone national park and came via the" Hf,Kenzie pass from central Oregon.' ...
