Members of tho Ijldles1 Aid society attending the regular meet ing and birthday party of the so ciety nt the church parlor Thurs day afternoon report a very enjoy able afternoon. . During the business session re ports of standing committees wero given. A committee wiia appointed to preparo for the Christmas ba zaar, and to start at this time buying materials and articles to be sold. A short but enjoyable program was presented. Covers were spread for thirty ladles for the luncheon served fol lowing tho meeting. Partners were chosen by num bers. The birthday cake was n huge three tier affair, each of the threo layers being different In size. Motion was carried to dispense with the July meeting as it falls on July 3rd. Mrs. J,. O.
