Egg prices wero weak, but no changes wore announced. Some re ductions have been reported by in dependent sellers here nnd there, but the co-operatives, who control 60 per cent of tho output, have held their quotations firm. All fruits apples, cantaloupes and strawberries, In particular met with good demand, and the market was firm. Strnkvherrlos wore in Unlit supply, partly due to removal of olio full carload of local berries, from Portland to Puget Sound points. Kurrollcrs and canners have been able to ob tain only limited supplies yet, due lo tho active- demand for fresh berries. Tho standard salad vegetables lettuce and tomatoes are more plentiful, and aro cheaper. Green peas are arriving from The Dalles and Rosoburg mostly, but local peas will replnco these soon.
