Sunday, May 25th. Three noted Hpeed pilots today notified the regatta committee that they expect to bring their craft here for the big meet ami two others tenta tively have accepted invitations. Johnny Adams and Charley UoU who have broken nearly every class 11 record for outboard craft, and Kergy Ferguson, holder of the fastest record ever made by an outboard shell, are expected to ar rive In a few days from Newport I leach, Calif., with Crandnl Comet boats. Henry "Heinle" Fluhrer, the "Flying Dutchman.' whose boat, "Black Friday," captured the class C, D, and free-for-all events at the first regatta, will compete against the California pilots and hopes to brea k t h e reco rd set by Thomp son's craft. Sid Smith has also announced his new Klsinor boat will be equipped with the same type of engine. The new motors are the latest product of the Johnson Outboard Motor company and were shipped direct from the factory by express In order to insure their being here for the races.
