Fresh-meats and poultry prices were unusually weuk. Liberal supplies are being received dally. The demand for turkeys was al ready under way, weights of 10 pounds or -more being especially desired. Reviewing the fruit and veget able situation, tho Portland Mar ket News Service of the United States Department of Agriculture says: ".Mixed cars,' Including celery, cauliflower, lettuce, tomatoes, and cabbage, are being loaded in in creasing volume; Extensive celery shipments will not materialize for 10 days or 2 weeks yet, however; "Prices on the Portland whole sale market continue about steady nn nearly all commodities.
