A delegation of citizens owning suiHiner homes In the Shady Cove district requested the county court to build luill) feet of road so the owners of homes could travel to them with more dispatch and com fort. They did not want the road to become a public highway, as it ( would destroy the value of the sec tion and spoil the bathing beach. The petitioners set forth that with the present road, if the load was heavy, a roundabout way had t be taken. The county court said it had been considering the road for some time hut had been held up hy diffi culty in securing a right of wav from the former owner of the gro cery store. The court was inform ed that the present owner of the Mlurc "had seen the light" and was willing to grant a right of way.
