They left the meeting early and took off for San Francisco from the local air port In their special plane, "The Spirit of the Tulip' at one o'clock. . SOUTHERN OREGON CUT L Plans for the annual observance of Memorial Day were discussed at last night's meeting of Medford Post No, 15 at the armory. The. local Legion post will cooperate with other patriotic organizations in putting on a fitting ceremony for this important- event. The Me morial Day parade will start at fl:30 n. m., May 30th, according to Col. Payne, chairman of the com mittee, and, every local lcgionnnire Is urged to plan now to be In the lino of march at that time. Lee Bricker who is In charge of the local committee on the Ameri can League Junior baseball league reported that three teams have al ready been formed in Medford and a total of 12 Jackson county. The first official league game will bo played -Thursday at the fair grounds. Bricker asked for funds to buy base halls for the games It has just been announced by P. O.
