The oratorical contest is an an
nual event and is being sponsored

Oregonian nnd nationally in being
promoted by the Nntional Bar as
sociation, the North American
Newspaper alliance with the co
operation of imtiioiie societies and
the Indorsement of state gov
ernors and tho officers of the na
tional executive offices. Including
the president of the United States.
"Our Work Js Not Yet. Done,"
is the subject of the. ' 10-minute
oration, the local student will de-'
liver at II one burg nnd Includes
approximately 1200 words. It is
based on problems of natjonal. In
terest nnd has been well prepared.
The first state prize consists
of $125 cash and n $100 gold
watch while tho second prize is
$80 cash nnd the third, $50 cash.
State winners will take part in
contests leading tip to the national

Highway.'" will ho given at the
Phoenix Prpsbylerlnn church on
Kaster Sunday night at 7 o'clock.
The drama has a cast of 30 char
acters, each nf whom is well chosen
for their parts and putting forth
bet efforts to make their role as
they feel It should bo carried by
that character In the time which
they represent.
It Is n drama of sevpn episodps,
giving the story of the resurrection,
displaying the different religions
of the day. and the hindrances to
the worldwide vision of tho Chris
tian church.' but how all under the
spirit of the church can he brought
under one Christ. The Invitation
