DIAMOND LAKE: - AUTOISTS CLAIM ' COP CO Kill : RESORT GLOSED , MAN THREW ROCK GAINS INTEREST LAST EVENING The Diamond Lake r-sorl closed for the season last night alter hav ing enjoyed a very heavy patron age since its formal opening on June 1st last. While the Diamond Lake resort i now closed, and the official Cra ter Lake season ended on Septem ber 2Uth last, the Lake of the Woods resort, accord-ing to present plans, will remain op. u for a month yet. Medford people and others, who contemplate trips to Diamond lake from now on, must take along their own food and sleeping ac commodations, us the lodge and cottages, are closed up tight for the winter. However, the grocery is still open, and six of the many boats were not stowed a way in winter quartern, being left out for the accommodation of duck hunt ers, and may be hired from the caretaker. Also the packhorse.s are still at the Diamond Lake resort 'c:dy to convey deer hunters on up into the game country. ( ieorge L.
