Service Parade lil Hit The first parade nf its kind ever seen in Med ford was the service parade at 8:30 last evening when all visiting drum corps bands marched from Oakdale avenue to Riverside. The line of nnweh in cluded several floats and went by thousands of spectators who lined Main street for seven blocks the parade went by. The nir circus and stunt program at the fair htouihIs in the afternoon was an other feature of yesterday's enter tainment. AmonK the features of the ser vice parade was a float entered by the Crams Pass auxiliary, showing the results nf much time and labor. The float was completely covered with Kladiolas with the exception of a static on the 'rear on which musicians were playing. It was near the front of the impressive procession. Another fine feat lire Was the Roy Scout drum corps. The line nf march was as fol lows: Sheridan post band. Orants Pass Auxiliary. Portland drum corps. Med ford Junior drum corps. Salem drumcurps. Kach of the visiting drum corps were escort ed by members of the Medford 40 et $ voiture throughout tin' length of parade, which includ ed one nut of state drum corps, that of Dunsmuir. Calif. A pood sized delegation of Dunsmuir post members accompanied the corps here and arc taking an active in terest in the convention. The Medford Auxiliary float, which attracted favorable atten tion in the parade, depicted the community work of t he auxiliary and was constructed with a ulcus Iiir effect. Air Cirrus Thrills A triple parachute Jump was the hi; feature of the .stunt show and air circus at the fair grounds, where one nf the largest crowds in years gathered early in order to obtain ood seals. The airplane circus Included flying of ships in hat t le formation, win,' walking, dead stick landing' and stunts in the air. Frank Rronks opened the circus with the triple jump after which the pla lies flow in halt le forma tion.
