In the afternoon a special ser vice was held to welcome new members into the "I'nion church and in the evening Mr. T'andal and Mr. Johnston were present, Mr. Uandal leading the song ser vice and Mr. Johnston, of the Faith Home In California, giving the evening sermon. Mrs. Ager arrived from her home In Portland one day last week, to lie with her father, Mr. f'ummings, who has been seriously ill at the family home. Mrs. Maria Purkeypile has been spending a week In Medford as the giient of Mr. and Mrs. Heeley und attending the Apostolic meet ings at that place. Carl Jioswt'll was a Medford visitor Saturday. Several of the Central Point young people attended the skating rink In Medford Friday evening of lust week. They included Dor othy Martin. J. M. Johnson nnd family and enjoying the pre-Faster services which were held last week. Hev. and Mrs. Johnson drove over to Mnlin after Mrs. Seagle and took her back home Monday, returning to Cen tral Point the same day. Miss Helen J.
