If You Like 36 South Central JURY SELECTED A Jury to hear tho testimony In the trial of Hymun Huntley, churned with first degree murder ua the result of n stabbing nffrny last September 2, in which Jeso James Glbbs was killed, was secured this morning in the circuit court as follows: John Mast, Medford; Alfred J. Henslor, Medforil; Fred W. Pinkerton, Ashland; t D. B. Philips, Medforil; William Biirnlmrt, Central Point; John Cos, Medford; C. W. McDonald. Medford; A. R. Hrown, Ashland; J. K. Weaver, Central Point; John Kass Uom, Phoenix; C. II. Merrlnian, Med ford, and M. M. Kendall, Central Point. i The jury was secured sooner than expected. Counsel for each side asked each juror 1i!b position on capi tal punishment. About 35 were ex amined before 12 men were selected. The Jury and court recessed until' Monday, when the opening statements and testimony will begin. i A verdict in favor of W. J. Freden burg for $200 and costs was returned. Friday afternoon in the civil, suit of I. H. Schiller against Fredenburg. The action arose over a controversy re garding the oxcavating of a basement for an apartment house at Sixth anil Oakdale streota. . Schulor filed suit via an injunction asking for $f00 damages for delay in starting the work., Fredenburg, filed a counter suit asking for Approximately $700 clnm- lages as a result of annullng his con- 'tract.
