It was the scavenger of the Jurassic period. The brontosaur us, known as the "thunder" reptile, takon away captive by the explorers, that demolishes ' London bridge and escapes to the sea in tho picture. Is believed to have- weighed 150,000 pounds. It was herbivorous and lived In marches. The armored animal Is a stegosarus, Its plates three feet high, and it had horns in Its tail with which it disemboweled its enemies. iT MEETS T P. Subpoenas have been Issued for 21 persons to appear as witnesses for tho state in tho trial of Tom Murray, Kllsworth Uelley and James AVlllus, who es caped from tho state penitentiary August 12 after killing J. M.Hol man and John Sweeney, two guards. The trials begin with tho Murray hearing on October 5. All three of the convicts uto accused of first de gree murder.
