A mar ble bust of Jack Dempsey has been acquired by the national gallery. It was made by the Italian sculptor, Ern esto de Piorl during the American pugilist's recent Berlin visit. Hans Breltenstraeter, German heavyweight, persuaded Dempsey, who at first was reluctant, to pose for4he bust.
