This will be good news to thoso who are interested In the proper development of the real mines of the county, of which this is one, of the friends of P. H. Robin son, through whose efforts the mine was originally offencd. brought into the market, and finally cold. The history of the North Pole is typical of some of the best mines of this county and worth recounting, Mr. Robinson, a miner of long ex perleneo made the original discov ery and location, the property finally covering six claims. 1I had the usual difficulties with claim Jumperu and paper hangers, but having fi nally perfected ills title, proceeded in a miner-like fashion to develop his prospect to a point where it was salable. To this ei;xj he drove a tunnel by hand work to the ore body, erected on . tho claim a two Htatnp mill and ran through it some five hundred tons of ore, making so high a recovery on the plates that the valuo of the property was proven beyond question. The mine reached this point, however, at a time when It waa exceed ingly hard- to move 1 any mine property and he. there- Ifore incorporated both for the pur pose of securing additional, and "f H) Interesting others In marketing the (property.
