On filing of the affidavit Judge McMahan declared he did not know Bramwell and insisted Bramwell ex plain why ho considered McMahan prejudiced. Bramwell wus not in court, but his attorney contended the court had no right to question Bram well as to the facts surrounding the prejudices alleged, but the court's only course -to pursue was to iesue an order transferring the cause to another court. Instead the court issued an order demanding the presence of Bram well today to explain the affidavit of prejudice.
