trustees, caused by Mrs. Smith s elec

The "HI Jinks" party, for women
only, to be held in the parish house
Monday afternoon. May 4, was an
nounced. Tho purpose of this af
fair is two-fold, to rulse funds and
to provide a "glorious good time."
Bach member must come in cos
tume, but may bring two guests. No
publicity either before or afterward
will be given as to what takes placo
at this "Hi Jinks."
The Wednesday Study club pro
vided the program for the afternoon.
Mrs. Jonas Wold presented Mrs. Wm.
Van Scoyoc who sang two delightful
songs. The first was "Tho Spirit
of Evil Wind," by Stewart, a lullaby;
second. "I heard You Go By," by
Daniel Wood was equally charming.
Mrs, Carlton Janes accompanied Mrs.
Van Scoyoc on the piano. I
Mrs. Jonas Wold then reviewed
the autobiography of llheta Chllda
Dorr's "A Woman of Fifty." This
is the remarkable experiences of an
American woman, as sho said, "all
1 saw, and some r was."

dancing pavilion on the hnnks of the
