The High-sounding title of "M. II. H. Sizzle" has been- Riven to the com bined shows and there promises to ba something besides "hot-dog.s" that will do tho sizzling. ryThe Dramatic club Is putting on a ;ono-act play entitled "Thursday NJght." This Isio start tho evening's entertainment at 8 o'clock after which the other organizations will run their shows in competition with each other. After several songs, the Lions were seated, and durlnir the course of tho lunch eon Mayor Alenderfer was called unon for a brief talk, which was enioved bv all present. Mayor Alen derfer stated that Medford had pletuy of room for good clubs of tho dame principles and high stand ing1 as the Lions, and, that at thin time Medford Is undergoing a criti cal period In Us life. The things wheh we do and act upon within the next few months will determine, to a great extent, the future of our city, wild tho mayor. Mr. Hoy I. secretary of the cham ber of commerce, requested that the Lions club, along with the other clubs of our city, support the cham ber of commerce to tho greatest ex tent possible, to lend constructive criticism to tho board of directors and secretary and to aid In every way possible to make tho Chamber of C'ommerco a greater organization for the upbuilding of Medford and vicinity. O. L. Davidson gave a brief synop sis on tho history of the Lions club, which was also enjoyed by all pres ent. Lion .
