ft 1 BRINGING VEUU-VELL WHO'S THlt AT THE DALLES BY : V ft- ?HE DALLES, Ore, March 10. Police, deputies and railroad officials early today had combed Wasco county for twelve houra in a futile search for C.:"R Williams, alleged confessed Mo aler bank bandit, nnd Hon Taylor, who was serving- a jail term sifter con viction on a larceny charge, who escaped from the Wasco county Jail last evening. The two men made good their escape after subduing the Jailer with a revolver and locking him in a cell. Officers believe the pair took a car which had been parked near the jail. The car has not been found, despite a close watch on all highways by of ficers. ; According to G. L. Coleman, tho jailer, Taylor offered to assist him when he brought in supper for the prisoners and as ho stooped over to lay down the basket containing the food Taylor toppled him over and Williams covered him with a revolver. They then placed him In a cell and made their way from the jail. About fifteen minutes later Colo man's cries were heard by his son In the living quarters for tho Jailer and his family.
