BRINGING MAdlE 'IF NOU KEEP ON TTM-KttN' LIKE THW TOO BREKK m HEMT- 1 0 PER CENT OFF FOR USE 10 BUILD ON LOIS VThe big city lot sale under the direc a of 'the home building campaign committee of the Hertford Chnmlier of Commerce begins at nine o'clock to morrow morning. " A ten per cent discount will be giv en on the purchase price to those who build a residence within one year on the lots sold this sale. The pur chase of a lot, at the price offered, is a good Investment, but the primary object of the sale Is to get the lots in private ownership for home building. , As long as the city sells lots at the prices Offered, - which is practically nothing for the lots and only for the coBt of improvements, every owner of Medford property is effected. As soon as these lots are oft the market every lot now privately owned will bo come mora valuable and realty values In Medford will become more stabil ized. The office of the chamber was a busy place yesterday as a great many people called there for information as to location and prices of lots offered for sale. Since the recent business survey of the chamber and with the announcement that building permits have been taken out this year to the amount of $274,000., which is practical ly three-fourths of the permits .taken out in 1923, there has been a greater assurance to the residents of the growth and prosperity of Medford in the Immediate future . ne hundred dollars down and the' balance In semi annual payments over a, period of seven years wtih Interest at six per cent are the terms under which the lots are offered for sale. The city will give a warranty deed and abstract. The title to every one of the lots is absolutely perfect. There will be no taxes on these lots for 1924 as assessments are made according to ownership on March 1st, and that date Is past. Those who care to make a safe and profitable investment must act quick. Every one purchasing a lot la contributing to the upbuilding of their borne town.
