The council received a protest from - citizens living In the vicinity of the corner of Welch and Jackson streets, against nllowlng the new States Glove factory, which is being moved here from Denver, Colo., locating on a lot which was tentative ly given this concern by the council last woek, providing the neighborhood didn't object. After briefly discuss ing the protest It was decided that the city will provide another location for the factory, and the matter was left In tho hands of a committee of tho council.
