' This dinner will be given to the ad vertising managers of the largest rail roads in the United States and will be in charge of A. S. Dudley of the Ore gon State Chamber of Commerce. The object is to sell Oregon to these rail road men and gave them a better un derstanding or tho opportunities here for the settler. Nothing but Oregon grown products will be served at the dinner and guests will receive many favors such as myr tle wood ash trays, miniature blankets and the like. The directors of the Medford Chamber of Commerce will furnish canned pears and small bottles of Rogue River Valley catsup. Mo tion pictures of industries and scenic attractions will be provided for after dinner entertainment and it is antici pated that Oregon will be known to those advertising men far better than over before. A meeting has been called by the di rectors of the Modford Chamber of Commerce of all who attended the ag ricultural economic conference at the Oregon Agricultural College last week to elect an executive committee to pro gram tho three day conference for this county. The governor's action was gratify ing to many who have thought recent ly boxing is "shaking at Its founda tion and needs a Landis to save It."
