Kvans passed away at his homo three miles west of Phoenix at 1 p. m. yesterday. Mr. Evans was born in Indiana, May 10, 1854, aged 69 years, 7 months, 8 days. The family had resided In their pres ent location but a few weeks, they hav ing come to Rogue river valley from Ontario, Ore., and Bottled on the farm west of Phoenix.
