bettor in the way of home grown sup
plies In the public markot today, and
It looks as if from now on there will
be plenty of produce of that variety.
A feature of today's, market was the
sale or several dozen dressed fryeri
with heads off nt 40 cents a pound,
which sold early. As the fryers de
velop the price will become cheaper.

Thursday on two charges of violation
of the prohibition law, plead guilty to
both chargeB before' County Judge
George A. Gardner this morning. On
the charge of possessing liquor on a
public highway he was fined $200 and
sentenced to sixty days In the county
Jail, the jail sentence being suspended
during good behavior. On the charge
of possession, found after a search of
his premises, Doremus was assessed a
fine of $50.
