It is a story of strong heart interest, with a touch of village com edy to relieve the dramatic situations. Caleb Oeming, a blacksmith, and his son, Amos, whose crippled arm so dis appoints the father that be turns against the boy. Amos, gifted with a wonderful spiritual Insight and capacity for love, wins the heart of Emily Preston. Krelg, scheming revenge on a weal thy lumber camp owner, attempts to use the brother as his tool, but fails. Krleg kills bis enemy, the brother is arrested and convicted. Emily saves him by her testimony, and Krieg seeks revenge on her. At the cruciai moment, when Krieg is about to accomplish his revenge, Amos goes to the rescue, and in an almost miraculous fashion, his arm Is restored to its strength. The sight terrifies Krieg. and he rushes out of the house, only to be captured, while Caleb begs forgiveness of the son he scorned. Russell Simpson, Gaston Glass.
