theater tomorrow, la a study in the
selfish, spoiled girl who mica a house
hold by her beauty and is the first and
almost only consideration of the fam
ily, the other children being entirely
overlooked and made to stand aside
because the pretty ais'.er has to hare
all the money that can be spared.
It Is rather a cruel picture of this
creature, but very true to life, and
played by Eileen Percy with a good
deal of art. She makes Cora Madison
one of those girls the outsider would
like to shake.
The cast is an important one. Be
sldea Miss Percy there are George
Nichols. Lydla Knott, Helen Jerome
Eddy. Buddy Messenger. Harold Good
win, Nell Craig. Lloyd WblUock. Tom
Kennedy, Edward Hearn, William

The power of love is the theme of
"The Kingdom Within," offered at the
Rlalto. It is a story of strong heart
interest, with a touch of village com
edy to relieve the dramatic situations.
Caleb Oeming, a blacksmith, and his
son, Amos, whose crippled arm so dis
appoints the father that be turns
against the boy.
Amos, gifted with a wonderful
spiritual Insight and capacity for love,
wins the heart of Emily Preston.
Krelg, scheming revenge on a weal
thy lumber camp owner, attempts to
use the brother as his tool, but fails.
Krleg kills bis enemy, the brother is
arrested and convicted. Emily saves
him by her testimony, and Krieg seeks
revenge on her.
At the cruciai moment, when Krieg
is about to accomplish his revenge,
Amos goes to the rescue, and in an
almost miraculous fashion, his arm Is
restored to its strength. The sight
terrifies Krieg. and he rushes out of
the house, only to be captured, while
Caleb begs forgiveness of the son he
scorned.
