thern company will be carried on by

may operate the lines of the Douglas

Roseburg and its vicinity with hydro
electric energy. -
Mr. R.' 1. Oochrun, a special rep
resentative of the United Creditors
association, is In tho city to aid the
members of tho association and othor
local merchants in establishing credit
business upon a sound basts.

attempting to extort money on the pre
tense that they would bribe a United
States jury now sitting here.

charges were filed upon information
furnished by A. L. McKenzio, one of
the defendants in A case involving
alleged use of tlo malls to defraud
now on trial in federal court
