The i track at the school yard has been put in good shape by the stu dens, in preparedness of the track meet of tiie different schools of the valley. Other equipment has been set up, such as vaulting standards and high Jumping standards. No doubt many will try out for the dif ferent events. Mr. Charles Cunning ham has been placed in charge of the A Class, those who are under twelve. The others are under the efficient care of Mr. Jewett, superintendent of schools of Central Point. - Central Point has now the cup in Its pos session, having won three track meets. The school stands a very , good chance of repealing the per formance as some very good mate rial is at hand. ' The track meet takes place somo time In May in the city of Talent, The entrance to the butcher shop ' underwent some needed repairs last week. New cement was layed on the entrance from the sidewalk, making it much safer than here-tu-fore had been. - "' - ' ' ' ! The outside work is now practically finished on the central telephone of fice building. Work has been start ed on the Inside, making the build ing ready to be occupied by the first of next month.
