"I have endeavored to produce a true picture of tho postoffice opera tions by taking tho regular postoffice accounts alono (which alono do. not give the true picture) and adding to them what they luck," Mr. Knapp's reproduced letter said. "Each government- department can bo successfully placed on this basis. Denver peace officers have abandoned their search in northern Colorado for the four men believed to have been the ones who robbed the United States Federal Reserve bank employes of $200,000. ! Tho police posse that went from here to the Greeley district have re turned to this city, paving lost trace of tho four men seen by a Greeley man in an abandoned farm bouse. . From 2:30 o'clcok yesterday after noon until 10 o'clock last night when darkness Intervened, the search for the men, who claimed to be coyote hunters, was conducted. Numerous reports as to the hunted men having been seen lu various sec tions of the Greeley vicinity were run down without avail.
