Tho dance and the theatre re eeive a revenue in return for wlit they produce: therefore, they can rightly be expected to donate pro portionately. Kadlo broadcasting, on the other hand, donates its services free of charge. To meet this situation, our sug gestion is that each broadcaster ap peal to tho local composers In his district, to have them submit their writings to tho broadcaster who will pass same to a board of critics ami if approved by this board, have tfie. piece sold outriht to the Theatrical association. This would obviate the necessity of the composer submitting his music to outside publishers and stimulate local interest.
