Another arrest of two days ago was on a charge of speeding, Francis Winter pleading guilty to the charge and was fined $15. Herb Grey was also arrest ed on the charge of exceeding the sliced limit,' by Constable Sandefer and was fined the same amount. . After a three weeks absence Miss Florence Pool, county home demon strator returned yesterday after at tending the National Home Economics convention at Corvallls and then went on to Ranler park for a week. Follow ing this Miss Poole attended the mil linery conference at Corvallls. This afternoon Miss Poole arranged a meet ing at the Valley View community hall and gave an interesting talk on "Cor rective Nutrition." Miss Poole was sent a case ot commercial pectin, "Certo," from the Douglas Packing company. This is a powder used in making jolly.
