Several of the larger orchards are expected to start the latter part of this week how ever. Packing houses of the valley are ready to handle the crop which Is an excellent one this year. .Many of the packing houses have had box makers at work for the past six weeks getting ready a supply of thousands of boxes for the season's pack. Orchardlsts are anxious as to the outcome of the rail road strike. Local railroad officials aro undetermined as to whether refrig erator cars can be secured in sufficient numbers to handle the crop or not. Kodak films at.
