Tho groom, who is an ex-service man nnd is connected with the local Associated Oil company branch, Is a member of the Theta XI fratornity of Stanford university. He Is a grandson of tho Hon. Lindsay Applegate. ono or the fifteen pioneers who blazed a trail through the wilder ness of the Rogue River valley in ISIti, and a nephew and namesako of the late Col. II. II. Sargent, and was one of the first volunteers to leavo Med ford for servico in tho world war. Tho newlyweds left after the cere mony to spend their honeymoon on an auto trip to San Francisco and other California points, and on their return will be at home to their friends at 017 West Tenth street.
