"Smilln" Through1," Norma Tal
madge'a best film, the picture that is i
creating a sensation wherever it is
shown, is to he seen at tho Page the-;
ater four days, beginning tomorrow i
matinee. I
When Miss Talmadge entered on the !
I production of "Smilin' Through" she
'started work on her even two hun
dredth picture and during tho making
iof these two hundred films she has
climbed into the hearts or all picture
rans throughout the world. Popular
ity contest after contest has shown
Norma Talmadge the universally fa-
I vorite actress of the silver screen and
her newest picture (being her very
best" cannot rail to please.
Miss Talmadge appears in the dual
role or Moonyeen and Kathleen and
she is ably supported by Harrison Ford
j who also plays a dual role. The cast
i includes somo of filmdom's most fa
mous members.
Elusive, tender, dynamic, over
whelming, her drama knows no. bounds
other than those or the human heart.
There is but one artiste who could
bring "Smilin' Through" majestically
to the screen und that artiste is Nor
ma Talmadge.
Western Film at Rialto
C'mon, see the west, young man.
It certainly is in "Man To Man," the.
attraction at the Rialto theatre. The
broad Bweeps or unfenced grazing king
doms of Arizona and California fur-
nished the background against which j
Harry Carey and a strong cast of play-
ers were photographed In the action of i
a virile story. i
The stampede of 900 head or cattle
gives enough thrill to the spectator.
Opposite the star in "Man To Man"
Lillian Rich shows what two years In
pictures can do to a young musical
star.
"Gay and Devilish" Makes Hit
Any number of bright comedy situa
tions make "Gay and Devilish," now at j
the Page theatre ono of the most amus-
iiig comedy attractions of the Beason. i
Doris May whose followers here mini-'
ber legions, has a role that fits her as
snugly as r. new glove. In the cast
are such well known funiuakers as
Bull Montana, Otis Harlan, Cullen Lan
dis nnd Jacqueline Logan. Doris May,
of course, has the vivacious flapper
type or rolo that she has made famous
and thore Is more than the usual
amount or romance and wholesome
