There was a very interesting play party given in honor of Miss Clara Enew of Los Angeles, who was here at that time, Saturday evening, July 22, visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pettygrew. There were 42 present and refreshments were serv ed by 'rs. Rose Smith and a very en joyable ftme was had. . . Phillips, Trail, and her daughter, Mrs. Bernice, came out Thursday and went on to Medford after taking dinner, remaining over night, and Mrs. Phillips is the wife of the Free 'Methodist, minister at Trail. Up to 11 o'clock today, Saturday a. m., the voters were keeping the election hoard busy, people coming in by the car load and men and viomen signing up their registering cards who have not voted for years, and some who have not voted at al, and the result of the election will be anxiously looked for in tho Modford Sun Sunday morning.
