Wednesday night after having spent
the last two months on an auto trip all
over the northwest Mr. Dixon states
that the alfalfa weevil Is 'creating;
havoo In southern Idaho with' the
airalfa crop and that the only county
In the southern part of Idaho which Is!
not infested with the pest is Elmore
county. The farmers are combatting
them as best they can and" a large
number of spray rigs are being used
there to spray the alfalfa fields in
order to rid them of the Insect.
